26–29
NOVEMBER 2026 · THURSDAY TO SUNDAY
A bear party on Mexico’s freest beach.
Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico
Bears don’t hibernate here. They ripen.
Phase 1 | Closes October 25 · 18+
Phase 2 | 1,650 MXN
WHY JUGOSO
Come alone. Leave with a pack.
Most bear parties run on the circuit: pricey, private, poster bodies. You arrive alone and you leave alone.
In Zipolite, clothes have been optional since the seventies, and we didn’t invent that. Without them, the labels go. What’s left is your body, and then what’s left is you.
That’s why the music is built to bring people together: to dance, to watch the sunset, to stay up talking.

Coming alone? Even better.
Zipolite is a small town. Everything is walkable, the beach belongs to everyone and nobody is rating you. The party starts on Thursday with the pool party at Casa Nudista and a welcome bear stop at Fetiche, so by Friday you already know someone.

Bring pesos in cash for taxis and colectivos; the venue is card only. There’s no Uber on the coast. Arrive a day early and leave a day late.
What is Jugoso?
Jugo is juice. Oso is bear. Squeeze the two together and you get jugoso, which already means juicy. The party lives up to the name.
We took the word bear and let it ripen. No lumberjacks, no log cabins. Just skin, fur, fruit and heat, on a beach where nobody is watching what you do because they’re doing the same. Bellies out. No shame. That’s the whole idea.
The sound
Disco as the sun goes down. House as the heat comes up. Techno at three, when nobody has a shirt on anymore.
One arc, from ripe to juicy. The night ripens. So do you.
Dress code
Zipolite is clothing optional. The party is in swimwear, with moments when it isn’t.
Those moments are scheduled. The rest of the time, the swimsuit stays on.
Zipolite
Mexico’s freest beach, and the only one where clothing optional is officially recognized. Bohemian, queer to the bone, and somehow international and deeply Oaxacan at the same time. People come here to leave the pretense, and the swimsuit, on dry land.
We didn’t choose Zipo. Zipo chose us.
Ripe. Wet. Shameless.
Ripe. Wet. Shameless.
What happened to our Instagram?
Meta suspended @jugosobear. We appealed and they didn’t give it back. We did nothing different from any other bear party, but we’re not spending November fighting an algorithm.
Jugoso is still on: November 26–29 in Zipolite. The conversation has moved to WhatsApp, where we share news, the line-up, presales and everything we used to post on Instagram. No algorithm in the way.
